The man celebrating his anniversary complimented his friends on how wonderful the dinner was.
After dinner, the women went to the kitchen, while the men sat and talked. Two of the men were talking about a new restaurant that just opened up; one man highly recommended it to his friends and went on about how good the food and service were; in addition, he was amazed by the new restaurant's atmosphere.
His friends asked him the name of the restaurant; unfortunately, being up in his years, the man describing the restaurant couldn't quite remember its name; even though the name of the restaurant was right there on the tip of his tongue, he just couldn't remember.
Trying to remember the name of the restaurant, he asked his buddies, "What's the name of that flower you give to someone you love? You know, the one that's red...it has thorns.” One of the men said "Do you mean a rose?"
"Yeah, that's the one." he replied...
He then turned and yelled towards the kitchen,
"Rose!...what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?
