Shopping Ain't Easy

Shopping at a store with children can be embarrassing; however, can shopping by yourself be as embarrassing as that?

Let's face it, men and women face different issues while shopping – men do not have to face half of the embarrassing moments that women may face, while simply going to the store.

For instance, one day while shopping, a lady was getting various items at a discount store.

Done shopping and at the cash register, the clerk discovered that one of her items was not marked, nor did it have any bar scan code on it

Now imagine her embarrassment when the clerk got on the intercom, with the entire store able to hear, and boomed out “Price check, lane 2...I need a price check on Tampax...Supers”

So yeah, that would be embarrassing enough; however, to add insult to injury, an employee misunderstood the clerk and thought the clerk said thumbtacks instead of Tampax.

So....a professional voice came over the intercom and responded “Do you want the price on the ones you push in with your thumbs, or the kind you pound in with a hammer”?

So much for an uneventful trip to the store.
